How it runs
One real example, start to finish.
- Runs on its own
- A person on your team decides
-
A call is missed
A homeowner calls while your CSR is on another line.
-
Texted back
Minutes later, a text arrives from your business number.
-
Job details gathered
The address and a good time window are asked by text.
-
Your CSR picks the slot
A person decidesYour CSR gets the booking summary and replies with the window.
-
Booked and confirmed
Mike gets the window by text, and the job lands in your system.
What changes for your team
Your CSRs stop returning calls to people who have already hung up and moved on.
They start from a summary with the problem, the address, and the window, and their job is the part that needs a person: picking the right slot for the right tech.
Techs stop getting "can you call this guy back" messages on the job. The owner stops wondering what came in overnight; it is on one list in the morning. In a busy week, the same office keeps up with more calls, because the first reply and the detail-gathering already happened by the time anyone looks.
Fast replies win jobs. When EZ Flow Plumbing started answering every inquiry right away, day or night, booking conversion went from 25% to 75%.
You stay in charge.
The routine runs on its own. At these moments it stops, asks a person, and waits for the answer.
-
The caller describes an emergency, such as an active leak, a gas smell, no heat, or a burning smell from a panel.

25% to 75%
of inquiries booked at EZ Flow Plumbing in Dallas, once every inquiry got an instant reply.
Read the case studySomeone would text us at 8 PM with a plumbing emergency, and by the time we saw it the next morning, they'd already hired someone else. Now, every single inquiry gets an immediate response, day or night. Our booking rate tripled, and we actually had to hire two more technicians to keep up with all the new appointments.

Frequently asked questions
Will callers know they are texting an automation?
You choose the wording. We suggest signing the first text with your business name and saying a person will confirm the time, which is true here, because your CSR confirms every slot.
My main line is not on Twilio. Does that matter?
No. We work with the phone system your calls already run through, whether that is Twilio, RingCentral, or CallRail. If you use another provider, tell us on the first call.
Will it text spam calls or my existing customers?
You set the rules. Numbers on your block list, calls shorter than the length you set, and callers who already have a job on today's schedule can all be skipped.
Ready to scope this for your office?
Book a call to confirm the scope and the start date, or send a fit check and we will reply with next steps.

What's happening
That was the automation.
Every text above went out without a person, within seconds of the missed call. Your version texts from your business number, asks your questions, and offers times from your schedule. We set it up in about three weeks.
